IN-PERSON CLASSES
Join me for a card design workshop where we will turn colourful panels into original cards. In this workshop the emphasis will be on creating, adapting and assembling a variety of card layouts using panels prepared in advance. If you have a stash of watercolour panels, gel prints, alcohol ink panels, collaged pieces or even pretty patterned papers then you have what you need for this workshop. We will discuss and experiment with basic design principles to make a handful of unique cards. (If perchance you don’t have a stash of watercolour panels or the like, I have many I can share!)
If you have questions or would like to pay by e-transfer, please email me or use the contact button
Please bring the following: paper trimmer, scissors, craft mat or surface you like to work on, your choice of strong tape and glue, stamp positioning tool, panels to turn into cards, die-cutting machine, black ink, rectangle, square or circle nesting dies if you have some
Optional but helpful: a few favourite stamps and/or dies, foam tape if you like to add dimension, scoring board, versamark and embossing powder if you’d like to emboss, your choice of embellishments

I HAVE to agree with so many others. Would LOVE to take some of your classes. ALL of your classes.! If you ever do an OnLine class I would gladly GLADLY pay to attend!! You do beautiful work!
Hi I also would love an online class and from Wisconsin in the USA. I know the cost is more plus getting the money there and the cards back here is expensive and take awhile but I might try it at least once to see.

Any plans for classes in the spring with the new Penny Black “So Special” floral Slapstick Clings?
Hi Shirley, I will be including some of the new Slapstick cling stamps in upcoming classes starting either March or April.
Look forward to them! I will keep an eye open for the April classes. I will be driving from Toronto and since March weather can be unpredictable it will be safer for me to think April. I attended two of your classes at Bizzy B’s in Toronto a year or so ago. Unfortunately as you probably know Bizzy B closed last summer.

Just attended another fabulous class with Heather. For this class she showed us how you can make stunning backgrounds/cards using only 3 primary colours of brusho watercolour powders. The results were wonderful, and now I can go back to my old stamps and use them in many different ways. If I come away with 1 good idea from a class I think it was well worth it, but this class we learnt numerous ideals thus making the class priceless. I have already signed up for her next class!

Count me in for video classes! I live in Illinois and I love your work. I would like to do more with watercolor but can’t seem to get over my fears.

Just attended Heather’s latest class making bright and colourful cards using Darkroom Door stamps. We had a great time and the cards we made-Priceless! I would highly recommend taking one of her classes. I live in Belleville and the drive to and back is over 6 hours, but it is totally worth it. If you are from out of town, grab a friend, stay over night and have a fabulous girl’s weekend in Ottawa!
