Wreaths – Stamped & Painted Online Class

After hinting and promising for weeks I am thrilled to launch my new online class ‘Wreaths – Stamped & Painted‘. In this class I use a range of techniques, styles and materials to create original card sized wreath designs. The lessons are focused on stamping, painting and drawing elements for wreaths and combining them in many different ways. The class includes instruction for ten different projects but there are way more examples of wreath cards I made with the same techniques. There are quite a few Christmas or holiday style wreaths included in the class along with some autumn toned ones. The techniques will work for any season or occasion so you can customize to your heart’s content!
Once again the filming was done by my talented son, Ben, and we have included a wonderful mix of close ups and overhead footage. There are written notes, project photos, extra inspiration photos and downloadable instructions to support the video content. All the lessons are self paced so you can take your time to go through the class and re-watch as many times as you like. You can leave comments and ask questions as you go through the lessons and add photos of your projects along the way.

As in previous classes I am going to do some giveaways. I will give away a class registration to a blog reader, please leave a comment below to tell me if you have started making Christmas cards yet. I will also host a craft store gift card giveaway for those who sign up for the class.

This class looks wonderful and the cards samples are beautiful! I have started making Christmas treat bags and boxes but haven’t started my cards yet.
Treat bags and boxes sound wonderful; a couple of years ago I sewed some reusable gift bags which make wrapping quick and pretty!
Hi Heather. I’ve just finished my 40th Christmas card. Yes I do a lot. 😄 Love wreaths so hope to join this class. ❤️
I haven’t counted yet but I hope I’m up round 40 too.
I don’t make Christmas cards, but I do order Shutterfly photo cards with photos of our trips during the year – three designs so far this year. I do stamp the fronts and backs of the envelopes – that is how I justify my Christmas and winter stamp stash! 😀
I love the idea of photo cards and it is always nice to see a family photo or snippet of life from friends.
From the intro video all those look wonderful! I especially like the turn-a-bout looking cards. Yes, I’ve started my Christmas cards but I think they are more simple than yours. I don’t think I have enough supplies for this class!
Thanks, Geri, I tend to make some simple and some fancy each year!
I love watching all your instructional videos. You are so talented.
I have begun making my Christmas cards. I have made about 20 stamped and colored cards. I vacationed this past spring out west and got some good photos of the Grand Tetons, so I plan to make some photo cards this year as well.
Thank you Jacquelyn for your kind words. I have never done photo cards but I always enjoy receiving them.
Just finished up Thanksgiving cards and ready to start some Christmas ones. I love your art, Heather!!
Thanks so much, Janet.
I ended up sick before and during Thanksgiving so not a single card was sent! I just had a handful to mail out but they are all still here. I am planning to do better with the Christmas cards.
I wish I had Christmas cards started but have been caring for an ill parent for 7 weeks now. The upside is he has internet so I can take your class. Silver lining.
Having you on hand caring must mean so much. I hope he is feeling well soon.
I HAVE started Christmas cards already, early for me, used stamps and old-old-old pigment inks that were hitting the trash in quick succession. Things stamped with the ones that didn’t fall apart immediately required heat embossing, as I should have expected, but didn’t. They’re still not done, but had a great time, lol.
I love the teaser video — so many techniques! I have not started Christmas cards yet. I will be giving handmade ones to special people. I would welcome the opportunity to join the class.
Wow..another great class. I just entered..You asked if we started our Christmas cards yet.
The answer is Yes..I made a lot for a craft fair sale…had some left over so I have a great head start on them. I am way ahead from last year, that is for sure.
By the way, good thing you said no experience necessary for drawing. I can’t draw a straight line.
Even my students in high school couldn’t figure out what my stick figures were supposed to be.
Looking forward to your class, as usual.

WOW! Your photo examples and the short promo video look like this is going to be a wonderful class. I used to take classes at our local Archeivers craft store but they went out of business. I miss doing classes and I so admire your talent and style. I have never tried an on line class before. Not sure if I have the right supplies, or if I could keep up, and I am 79 years young. Also not sure of the current exchange rate of US dollars to Canadian for the cost. How long are you going to be offering this Wreath class? And NO, I have not started my Christmas cards. My family is small in number, and with COVID, we have stayed home all through it and did not send any cards last Dec. Just started grocery shopping this summer so our lives are so different now. We have had 2 vaccine shots, and a booster, and wear a mask or shield when out at the grocery. I have lots of wonderful Penny Black stamps since I buy them on line after I see your blog posts. I did watercolors in college 1964-65, so I think I still could accomplish a few wreaths.
Be blessed Heather. A friend in Minnesota, USA Martha Gunckel
While I make all kinds of cards for friends during the year, I don’t make Holiday cards. Your wreaths are lovely.
I make birthday and anniversary cards every month but I’ve not started on my Christmas cards yet. There are so many great ideas out there!
Beautiful wreath cards; would love to win a class registration. Yes, I have started and finished (whew) my Christmas cards – over 50. I’ve never been done this early!! LOVE your cards and videos, so many wonderful creations and ideas.
Wreaths are one of my favorites for all seasons! This class looks fabulous!
I have started Christmas cards but only a few so far. I usually kick into high gear over Thanksgiving weekend!
Wreaths enough said, I am signing up!
These are just beautiful! I am drawn to wreath designs and holly for my holiday cards! I have been making some Christmas cards and try to make a few each month all year long! I did keep up with that plan pretty well, but I did take a couple of months off!
I have so loved your wreaths, especially those handpainted ones and have wished to try my hand at it. So I am thrilled you will have this class. I already have all my Christmas Cards designed and ready to make for this year, but by next Christmas, perhaps, I will have some hand drawn or stamp-assisted wreaths to put in the mail.
Love the wreaths…thank you for offering this class…it will get me ready for next year:) I start thinking of my cards early in the year (although by the time I get around to doing them, it’s the November crunch!) My kitchen table is inaccessible for the next few weeks 😉
Can i bring you the $31.50 for the “Wreaths” Online class Friday around 11am?

Hi Heather,
This year I decided to make a ‘card in a box’ with houses, Santa in his sleigh flying over the moon, etc. Lots of work and I am already tired of them…but into the home stretch now… addressing envelopes with pointed pen calligraphy. Don’t think I will take on a 3D card next year!
I feel as though I am making hard work of my Christmas cards this year. I haven’t counted, but I feel as though I am about half-way through. The cut-off date for overseas posting is next week, so that is the first milestone to get through. Your wreaths look wonderful, but I’m afraid I think I need to stick to something a bit simpler for the rest of this year’s cards. It would be a lovely class to do in the new year though, and get a jump-start on next Christmas:)
The wreaths look amazing and something to aspire to in my fledgling crafting career. I began to make cards as a new hobby during lockdown, using your blog for inspiration, and I love it. I started my own Christmas cards early to make sure I had time to practise the designs first, so I am now making some for my daughters in return for a donation to the baby bank I volunteer with in London, currently supporting newly arrived families from Afghanistan.
Good morning!
First, let me say that I love your work! You are truly an inspiration.
I wish to enroll in your class on wreaths, however PayPal is the only option and I don’t have PayPal. I always pay by credit card on all my online purchases. Is PayPal really the only way to enroll?
Thanks for your time.

Hi Louise,
Thank you for your kind words; I’m so glad you are inspired!
I believe you can follow the paypal prompts and you will be given an option to pay with a credit card. You don’t have to have a paypal account to do this.

Hi Heather
I had total knee replacement surgery 2 months ago today.
I haven’t started Christmas cards yet. I did manage a birthday card for my grandson who’s 10 this month.
Yes, I have started my Christmas cards and they are all different this year. Usually I mass produce the same one, but this year I started early and have truly enjoyed the creative process of each different one.
I enjoy your work! Thanks for the chance to win a spot in your wreath class!
I love wreaths as a decoration in my home & love card making. I’m trying to improve my watercolor skills as well. This seam like a taylor-made class for me! I have made many Christmas cards already but. Wreaths are right for any occasion!
