Brusho Hearts
Posted: January 5, 2016 Filed under: All my hearts, Brusho, Love & Hugs, Love is growing, Triple love | Tags: Brusho, Penny Black creative dies, Penny Black stamps 13 Comments‘Tis the season for creating Valentine cards but the fresh snow outside my window is calling me to keep creating snowy scenes! New stamps and dies however, were calling from inside my craft room so red, pink and hearts it is. The new release from Penny Black is full of love, hearts and sweet wishes and is available in the online store now.
I created a red and pink panel with brusho then die cut a bunch of different sized hearts using three different dies. Aren’t those tiny ones cute? I popped up two of the hearts on fun foam and attached the others directly onto the stamped panel.
What are you creating in the new year?
Supplies:
Stamps: Love & Hugs (PB)
Dies: Triple love, Love is growing, All my hearts (PB)
Mediums: Brusho powders, Versafine Satin red ink
Cardstock: Hotpressed Fabriano watercolour paper, Neenah chili red
Also: white fun foam
Such a beautiful valentine!

This is gorgeous! I love your Brusho hearts! I will be creating birthday and Christmas cards for my stash and a Valentines card for my husband. Will be playing with my Brushos a lot more this year too, thank you for all your inspiration! xxx
I am sure you will get plenty of satisfaction from your Brushos. I was working with mine today and some of the patterns and colour combinations are gorgeous and they just happen!
The brusho hearts are really pretty Heather and the flourish heart design is beautiful with all the hearts arranged over it. x
Very, very PRETTY Hether! I have been working on Art Impression window cards with their Window die on the outside and Window on the World stamps on the inside…FUN!

Such a pretty cascade of hearts! Perfect with the flourish stamp. I made a Valentine-style tag myself today!
I LOVE this! Until I started receiving your emails I had never heard of “Brusho”. It makes a lovely card. I want you to know that I get emails from others with their ideas and techniques but YOURS are my favorite. I LOVE your style and appreciate that you take the time to explain how you achieved your designs. Thank you for the BEAUTIFUL inspiration.
Hi DeLayne,
Thank you for taking the time to send me such a lovely message; I am thrilled you are inspired.
Loverly! Perfect combination.
Oh Heather! I really love your brusho hearts. lol mine are still sitting there. the only time I open one I got purple all over the place. i’ll get back to them and try them. you always give me a feeling of hope you so fearlessly use them. love the card! so elegant too. hugs, treen
Hi Treen,
I did not take the lids off my brushos at all; I just poked a hole in the lid with a pin. I still manage to get colour all over the place!
Love these hearts I have bister now but think I need some Brusho it looks more vibrant in color. You did a wonderful job but you always do. 🙂
The bister is more earthy than the brusho; I enjoy them both for different projects.
