Queen Anne’s Lace
Posted: January 24, 2013 Filed under: CAS, Penny Black, Tweet Tweet 19 CommentsI was very happy to receive this stamp from the new catalog as I love the delicate appearance of Queen Anne’s Lace. I revisited a favourite technique when trying the stamp for the first time.
I stamped and embossed the image in clear powder then added sponging, deciding as I sponged where the light would be coming from. I used three green inks to sponge and stamped the floral stamp with the same three greens. You will be seeing more of this stamp for sure and the other delicate, pretty images in the transparent set too.
The introductions continue on the Penny Black blog today with transparent sets featured and give-aways offered (including the stamp above).
Supplies:
Stamps: Tweet, Tweet PB)
Inks: Memento Pistachio, Bamboo Leaves, Olive Grove (Tsukineko)

Once again Beautiful and simple. You have a wonderful talent for making cards seem easy and simple to do. Each day I try something new thanks to you. Thanks for sharing your amazing talent.
Absolutely gorgeous, love what you have done with stamp, colours and background…really effective…Denise (UK) xx
Love this one, it’s definitely a “Heather” card all the way. I absolutely love the way you have the sunshine highlights placed as you did, with the darkening shadows out towards the edges and the darker green shadowing of the white flowers. Perfection. TFS
Beautiful! Your sponging is perfect to create the shadows and light. Love this card.

This is so elegant, Heather. A beautiful blend of colours. You have captured the light through foliage effect beautifully
So pretty! I didn’t realize at first it was a grouping of flowers; I thought you’d placed them individually.
