First cuttlebug card

This is the first of many cards, I’m sure, that will be made with the help of my new Cuttlebug. My family took note of my many hints and gave it to me for my birthday. The effect of embossing is very classy. This card just shows a simple full background embossing folder but there are many techniques I will be trying.
I sponged around the edges of the card front with Mellow moss ink before attaching the embossed piece on raised tape. The berries are from a current SU hostess set Infinite Goodness and the sentiment from the Cherished Memories rub-ons.
Supplies:
Stamps: Infinite Goodness
Inks: Mellow Moss
Cardstock: Mellow Moss, Whisper White
Also: Two sided foam tape, D’vine Swirls embossing folder

I HAVE RECENTLY BOUGHT MY CUTTLEBUG AND ON THE NET LOOKING FOR IDEAS. IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST EFFORT I LOOK FORWARD TO THE OTHERS FOLLOWING. WELL DONE. I WILL BE VISITING AGAIN. BETTY K.
Very nice card…simple but classy. I got the Cuttlebug last fall and just love it. It adds a quick touch to cards and even the young grandkids love it and are making cards too! Look forward to your other works.
What did you do to get white text… is that stamped (ink brand/color?) or printed?
Hi Diane,
The white text is a rub-on.
Heather
I haven’t tried those yet.. do you have a favorite brand?
This one was from Stampin Up but I don’t know if they sell them any more. I haven’t tried any other brands but I’m sure you’ll find some in craft stores.
