Celery quilt

img_3301card13.jpg

I made this card using the Certainly Celery pack from the new single colour sets of Designer paper from Stampin’ Up. The frustrating thing about this paper is that in most cards you can’t see the two beautiful sides. This quilt inspired design is my answer to that problem. I cut one square into strips and then proceeded to glue them down but of course it was near impossible to get them perfectly square so I squared them off like a quilter would after they were glued.

Supplies:

Stamps: Garden Silhouettes, Polka dots And Paisley
Inks: Certainly Celery, Versamark
Cardstock: Certainly Celery, Whisper white, Celery Designer paper
Also: Celery grosgrain ribbon, White e.p.

Does the new paper have any of the wierd stuff that old paper used to have??

You certainly like the celery… I do too, it’s a nice fresh color

The paper I got doesn’t seem to have any of the weird stuff, all the designs are clear, no smudges, etc.
