Delighted

Here is another card inspired by a very creative artist. I am always impressed when I visit Sarita’s blog by how elegant her cards are. Her cards often feature gorgeous flourishes, flowers or fireworks but one day I dropped in to find some delightfully whimsical creations featuring coloured lights.

My card is a pretty close copy of Sarita’s clean and simple creation.  I  coloured the lights with markers and drew the cord after stamping.

Still no sign of snow here but I hope to be back with some snowy Christmas cards soon. Thanks for all your kind comments, I am happy you dropped by.

Tomorrow my daughter is playing violin in a fundraising concert for an orphanage in Cambodia. I made this set of cards to be sold in a silent auction after the concert. As you can see I have had fun with the Cerise designer paper. None of these cards are embossed, although you could add a little sparkle with embossing if you wanted to.
