Rust tree
Posted: September 29, 2010 Filed under: CAS, Lovely as a Tree 3 CommentsThis is a card I made a while back, which has a more masculine look than many I make. It also uses a tree stamp I don’t often reach for.
The image panel was made by masking a rectangle then sponging in rust, cocoa and a touch of ruby red. The tree and sentiment are stamped in black and that is all there is to it. Unfortunately my photo doesn’t show that the rust cardstock is textured but in real life it adds a little something.
Supplies:
Stamps: Lovely as a Tree, Everday Flexible Phrases
Inks: Close to Cocoa, Real Rust, Ruby Red, Basic Black
Cardstock: Flourishes Classic Ivory, Real Rust

Ooh, I just love this card. So simple yet can be used for any occasion.
Another card we like. It reminds me of a big and old English tree in a great park. A tree for people to picnic under or children to climb.
ND.
How beautiful. I like how you did the masking and sponging. Such perfect fall colours.
