Winters’ Night

Some nights really do look like this after a fresh fall of snow. Once again I used Lovely as a Tree to create this winter scene but didn’t use embossing to put snow on the trees this time. The moon is embossed with clear embossing powder before sponging all around it with Night of Navy and Brocade Blue ink. Stamping the trees several times without re-inking gives the effect of distance.
Supplies:
Stamps: Lovely as a Tree, Christmas Cardinal(the word Christmas), Island Blossoms( the moon)
Inks: Night of Navy, Brocade Blue, Versamark, Basic Black
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Brocade Blue, Whisper White
Also: Clear embossing powder, sponges
