Last sunflower
Posted: September 27, 2007 Filed under: Serene Sunflowers 2 CommentsNot the last sunflower ever, just the last for now, as I believe it will be Christmas cards, tags, etc from now until December! I have several events I need to be planning for so I hope to start designing soon. I made the sunflower tiles by punching them out, stamping the Versamark pad straight on the squares and then embossing in clear e.p. Next time I’ll try glassy glaze e.p. to see if that makes them even more like tiles.
Supplies:
Stamps: Serene Sunflowers, Fundamental Phrases
Inks: Ruby Red, Bravo Burgandy, Always Artichoke
Cardstock: Ruby Red, Bravo Burgandy, Always Artichoke, Very Vanilla
Also: Olive organdy ribbon, Clear e.p.

I am in love with this card. Love that you used a “non-sunflower” color with these flowers — such a beautiful card!!
Thanks for your encouragement, Corie. I think I use non-sunflower colours with these stamps more than the conventional gold and brown. I just like the pinks and deep reds.
