I was also a guest designer for Dee today so I cooked up my first batch of gingerbread cookies for this season. Baking and decorating gingerbread has become a family tradition for us. Last night it was just my son and I baking; I made trees, he made trains. My recipe can be found HERE.

I decided to package them in a box which held pasta, it was the perfect size for two trees across, stacked three high. I just had to make the lid. I wanted a tree on the lid, but instead of stamping one, I decided to use the cookie cutter to trace around. I drew around each section of tree with a Stampin’ write marker and stuck them on with Stampin’ dimensionals. The cute little tag is made using a Just Rite “Baking Ensemble” stamp. I only just received my Just Rite stamps yesterday, so this is a very small start, but I am going to have so much fun with them I can tell.

Supplies:
Stamps: Baking Stamp Ensemble from Just Rite
Inks: Artichoke
Cardstock: Artichoke, Whisper white, Wintergreen d.p. Certainly celery
Also: Celery grosgrain ribbon, white eyelet, tree cookie cutter
