Choosing a tree

I had fun with this little truck from Loads of Love. Each time I started a card, I considered colours to make the truck, but red seemed to be the only option. Perhaps if I wasn’t making Christmas cards it would be different. When I finished this one, my daughter commented that it must be “choosing a tree in Australia as there is sand on the ground not snow.” I have chosen trees from Christmas Tree farms in both Australia and Canada and it is a very different experience, that’s for sure!

I stamped the truck on Real Red c.s. and cut it out before stamping the whole piece with the versamark and embossing with clear e.p. The wheels were stamped on white and coloured with watercolour pencils.
